The concept of mindfulness originated from Buddhist practice and reflects conscious awareness of emotions and physical sensations in the body. This class uses guided movement explorations to music and verbal cueing to connect to your body and memories. Improvisation, meditation, drawing, painting and writing will support expression of this connection between body memory and how you feel. Reconnect with your body, your emotions and others in a playful and supportive space. There will be time for rest, relaxation and dialogue within a supportive artistic container.
