Open Pottery Studio

Open Pottery Studio sessions are now open only to people who are currently enrolled in a 5-week pottery class OR have purchased a seasonal pottery studio membership. Memberships are available to the public, please email julie@bigskyarts.org for more information and to register. The sessions are supervised by Katherine Berceau or Julie Edwards, who will be on-site to help as needed. Open Pottery Studio participants will have access to wheels, hand-building materials, and glazes. Clay is provided by the Arts Council and can be purchased for $25 for 25 lbs. We only use a Cone 6 White Stoneware. No production pottery is permitted. All projects must be complete (bisque fired and ready to be glaze fired) by the end of the session. A firing schedule will be provided. No artwork, complete or incomplete, will be stored for any student after the season pick-up date. Sorry, we just do not have space to store any artwork between sessions!
