Gallatin River Clean Up

Gallatin River Clean Up

The Gallatin River Task Force is teaming up with the Gallatin Watershed Council for the annual Gallatin River Cleanup! The event is a great opportunity to work together as a community to clean our beautiful Gallatin after the busy summer season on the river.

WHERE: Gallatin Canyon (Spanish Creek to YNP boundary) and Big Sky (map of river segments). Volunteers will be assigned where to clean and notified prior to September 9.

BEFORE THE CLEANUP: Join us for a kickoff barbecue at the River Pavilion at the Big Sky Community Park on Thursday, September 8th, 5-7 pm! Get free food and supplies for the cleanup!

WHAT TO BRING:
– Work gloves. We will provide rubber gloves, but if you prefer to bring your own gloves, feel free!
– Sunscreen & bug spray
– Water & snacks

Check out this link for more details & information about how to sign up, what to wear, where to meet, and everything else you need to know to participate!
