Brambles & Briar of Bozeman MT is an alternative indie folk duo comprised of Jacob Rountree & Cole Thorne. Their full-bodied experimental sound is made up of ukulele, percussive lap guitar, djembe, layered loops & intelligent harmonies. Their energetic melodies and conscious lyrics are empowering & soul-building yet relatable and playful. The couple has played for crowds of 800+ providing support for alternative synth-pop band Future Islands and have won awards individually in their own projects, including best solo act and best album of the year.
