Backcountry Film Festival

Wild Montana’s mission is to unite and mobile communities to keep Montana wild. Wild Montana envisions a Montana where people and wildlife flourish because public lands and waters are wild and connected. With 7 chapters across the state, Wild Montana works both locally and statewide to keep Montana wild.

Presented by Winter Wildlands Alliance, Backcountry Film Festival is a celebration of the human-powered experience and a gathering place for the backcountry snowsports community. Screenings are hosted by local grassroots groups, avalanche centers, education sites, and nonprofits across the country. Funds raised at each screening stay in the local community to support winter recreation and conservation efforts, education and avalanche/safety programs and to raise awareness of winter management issues.
