Avalanche Awareness with the Friends of the GNFAC

Join the Friends of the Gallatin National Forest Avalanche Center at BASE to learn general information about safer backcountry travel in avalanche terrain. This lecture will focus on basic information for skiers and splitboarders looking to gain more knowledge for safer travel. This lecture is not a certification course. Class is at BASE and no BASE pass is required as it is open to all ages and community members regardless of BASE membership.
